About Us
Our Mission
Making studying at TI more vibrant, connected, and collaborative. We advocate for you in university policy, organize events, and support your ideas and projects – by students, for students.
By students – for students
The VSI is more than just a representative body—we are an active student community, open to anyone who wants to participate. The association consists of a board (presidential, finance, communications) and an open advisory board in which anyone can participate.
Who are we?
The VSI (Association of Engineering Students) is your official student representation in the Department of Engineering & Computer Science (TI) at the BFH. We represent over 1,200 students from eight bachelor's and four master's programs at the Burgdorf and Biel campuses.
We are part of the VSBFH , the umbrella organization for all students at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. By participating in the VSBFH, you automatically become a member. Each semester, 7 CHF of your student contribution goes to the VSI, which we use to facilitate events, projects, and substitute work for you.

What we do
Our tasks
University policy
We represent the interests of TI students in the University Assembly (HSV) of the BFH and at the VSBFH. This ensures that your concerns are heard and taken seriously.

Events & Community
Whether it's Europa Park, go-karting, BBQs, or aperitifs – we organize cool events for you. This strengthens the community and ensures unforgettable moments outside of everyday student life.
